FAQ about 4B

The Texas 4B Disaster Response Network is offering Hurricane Harvey survivors free assistance with rebuilding their homes. Registration for requests for rebuilding assistance is now closed. 4B has received over 2000 requests and is committed to helping as many as possible while their financial resources last. The Texas 4B Disaster Response Network is a non-profit organization of churches that serve the area between the Beltway and Galveston Beach and Galveston Bay to Brazoria County. They partnered with Eight Days of Hope, skilled carpenters and electricians, and volunteers to continue their rebuilding efforts in smaller projects over the next 1-2 years.

VOLUNTEER Information:

Fuller Center Disaster ReBuilders is rebuilding homes devastated by Hurricane Harvey in the Upper Galveston Bay area southeast of Houston. Operating in partnership with churches in the community led by Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, and Webster and Clear Lake Presbyterian Churches, we have accommodations for 25 volunteers at Clear Lake and 40 volunteers at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. We’ll attempt to accommodate your location request depending on availability.

 

The registration fee is $100/week per individual; this includes room and board for the week. Our minimum age is 16. We plan for teams to arrive on Sunday and depart on Saturday. You will be rebuilding the interior of homes that were flooded. We have tools but ask teams to bring what they might have.

 

In order to confirm your reservation, you can register online at http://fullercenter.org/disaster-rebuilders/ including paying your registration fee or mail a $100.00 deposit to the address below. If you’d prefer to accomplish a group registration, we can provide forms for roster and skills.

 

If you’re registering a group, contact one of the individuals below to confirm availability. We’ll confirm your reservation once you register and submit the initial payment. We will hold the dates for your group until they have time to register. The rest of your team will need to register and have all their fees paid 30 days out.
