Has been the backbone of the volunteer base since 2018, and has assisted GRC with Outreach, Community Assessment, and repairing homes. They have committed to work until spring 2022 if travel is permitted.  They have assisted GCR to repair homes, and have committed in funds to support GRC operations.

World Renew, American Red Cross, Fuller Homes, and Disciples of Christ, Gulf Coast Center and Mainland Community Partnership have provided targeted outreach to Galveston County residents after Hurricane Harvey, Winter Storm Urie, and during the COVID pandemic to identify vulnerable segments of the population in need of Recovery Services.

Volunteers are critical to our mission.  We have worked to establish ongoing relationships that will be supportive of our home repair projects. We have coordinated with 4B Disaster Network to optimize volunteer manpower. We have been fortunate to have had so many “repeat volunteers” come to serve Galveston County.
